On the afternoon of December 30th, 2022, the Conference of Officials and Employees Delegates was held, featuring the participation of over 200 delegates elected from the Conference of Officials and Employees of the affiliated units.
The representative from 水果派AV解说 National University Ho Chi Minh City included Assoc. Prof. Nguy峄卬 膼矛nh T峄 – Chief of Office; M.Sc. L芒m T瓢峄漬g Tho岷 鈥 Chairman of the Trade Union and Head of the Emulation – Commendation Committee; Dr. D瓢啤ng T么n Th谩i D瓢啤ng 鈥 Deputy Head of the Training Department; and Assoc. Prof. L芒m Quang Vinh 鈥 Head of the Science and Technology Department.
At the commencement of the Conference, the Organising Committee took a moment to honour eight Associate Professors appointed in 2022, namely:
– Assoc. Prof. L锚 Nguy峄卬 Ho脿i Nam, Major in Information Technology, Faculty of Information Technology;
– Assoc. Prof. Nguy峄卬 V膬n V农, Major in Information Technology, Faculty of Information Technology;
– Assoc. Prof. Nguy峄卬 Thanh B矛nh, Major in Information Technology, Faculty of Mathematics – Informatics;
– Assoc. Prof. Hu峄硁h L锚 Thanh Nguy锚n, Major in Chemistry and Food Technology, Faculty of Chemistry;
– Assoc. Prof. Nguy峄卬 C么ng Tr谩nh, Major in Chemistry and Food Technology, Faculty of Chemistry;
– Assoc. Prof. V农 B铆ch Ng峄峜, Major in Biology, Stem Cell Institute;
– Assoc. Prof. Ph岷 Kim Ng峄峜, Major in Physics, Faculty of Materials Science and Technology;
– Assoc. Prof. B霉i Vi峄噒 H瓢ng, Major in Irrigation, Faculty of Environment.


Following this, Assoc. Prof. Tr岷 L锚 Quan – President of the University, awarded the decisions to establish two new affiliated units: the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Science and the Centre for Brand Development and Community Connections. He also appointed Assoc. Prof. Nguy峄卬 Tuy岷縯 Ph瓢啤ng as Dean and selected Prof. Nguy峄卬 Th峄 Thanh Mai as the Centre’s Director. Additionally, Assoc. Prof. Tr岷 L锚 Quan presented the Emulation Flag of the Ministry of Education and Training to the Faculty of Information Technology and the Laboratory of Testing & Quality Assurance, recognising their outstanding achievements during the 2021-2022 academic year.



To conduct the entire programme, the Conference voted to approve a Presidium consisting of three members:
– Assoc. Prof. Tr岷 L锚 Quan 鈥 Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, President of the VNUHCM-University of Science;
– M.Sc. D瓢啤ng Th峄 B铆ch Hu峄 鈥 President of the Union of the VNUHCM-University of Science;
– Dr. 膼inh B谩 Ti岷縩 鈥 Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology.

Delegates listened to the Summary Report, which included 148 comments from the Conference of the Units, the People’s Inspection Committee Report, and the Financial Report for 2022. The President and representatives from various units addressed these comments.
The conference featured lively discussions aimed at clarifying issues and proposing solutions to aid in the construction and development of the University during the period of financial autonomy. Assoc. Prof. T么 Th峄 Hi峄乶 – Head of the Department of Environmental Technology, expressed her views: “We need to invest more in laboratory projects to inspire student research, increase scientific publications, and simultaneously meet society’s needs in the University’s training fields.”
During the Conference, Mr. V膬n Ch铆 Nam – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, shared his observations regarding the repair work of the University’s facilities, emphasising the importance of thorough monitoring and quality assurance throughout the processes.

Ms. L锚 Th峄 Thu Hi峄乶 – President of the University Student Union, voiced her concerns about the limited information regarding training courses for schools in remote provinces: “The University needs to enhance its promotion of the brand to provinces and cities while encouraging officials and employees to take part in promoting the University. Additionally, the University needs to improve its facilities and support services to fulfil learners’ expectations,” she noted.
After nearly four hours of discussion, the Conference reached consensus on the Final Report contents and the direction of tasks for the upcoming year, as well as the necessary explanations. All delegates expressed their hope that the University would successfully navigate the challenges of reforming its operating mechanisms to reach new heights of development.
