VNUHCM-UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE WELCOMES THE UNIVERSITY OF SASKATCHEWAN DELEGATION

The visit of the delegation from the University of Saskatchewan aimed to promote research and exchange programmes between the two universities, particularly in the fields of nuclear physics, nuclear engineering, and sustainable environmental issues.

On 4th March, a delegation from the 聽Canada, visited and engaged in discussions at the NVC campus of VNUHCM-University of Science. This event was part of ongoing academic exchange and research collaboration programmes between the two institutions.

On the side of the VNUHCM-University of Science, the welcoming meeting was attended by Assoc. Prof. Tr岷 L锚 Quan 鈥 President of the University of Science; Dr. V玫 H峄搉g H岷 鈥 Deputy Head of the Office of External Relations; Prof. Ch芒u V膬n T岷 鈥 Faculty of Physics 鈥 Engineering Physics; Dr. Phan L锚 Ho脿ng Sang 鈥 Faculty of Physics 鈥 Engineering Physics; and MSc. Tr岷 Qu峄慶 膼岷 鈥 Deputy Head of the Office of Student Affairs.

The visit by the delegation aimed to strengthen research and exchange programmes between the two institutions. The primary focus of this collaboration concerns nuclear physics, nuclear engineering, and sustainable environmental issues, a topic of significant priority in Canada and the province of Saskatchewan in particular.

The , known for its research in water security, food security, vaccine development, and infectious diseases, is one of the key partners the University of Science is looking to collaborate with in terms of research and education. Both sides expressed their interest in developing extensive collaboration programmes, ranging from faculty exchanges, doctoral candidates, undergraduate students, and postgraduate students.

In an open discussion, representatives from both universities explored and identified opportunities for collaboration, with the aim of developing high-quality and effective educational programmes.

The meeting provided a platform for representatives to meet, exchange knowledge, and explore potential joint research projects, thereby enhancing international cooperation and exchange in the field of education. With a commitment to sustainable research and innovation, both universities are keen to contribute to the global development of education and science and technology.
