On 11 June, VNUHCM鈥揢niversity of Science signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Tan Binh Cultural Joint Stock Company (ALTA Group), expanding the network of collaboration between the University and industry within the fields of education, scientific research, technology transfer, and high-quality human resource development.
Speaking at the ceremony, representatives from the University affirmed the significance of building sustainable partnerships with leading technology firms such as ALTA Group. This agreement not only maximises the core strengths of each party but also fosters a favourable environment for students to gain exposure to professional, real-world working environments. Consequently, this enhances the calibre of graduating personnel in science, technology, and engineering physics, meeting rigorous standards in both domestic and international labour markets.
Ms 膼inh Th峄 Tuy岷縯 Trinh, Human Resources Director of ALTA Group, expressed absolute confidence in the training and research capabilities of HCMUS. The enterprise pledged a long-term commitment to accompany the University in realising these goals, specifically focusing on solutions in smart technology application, digital transformation, and automation鈥攁reas currently in high demand across society.

According to the agreement, the two parties will implement collaborative activities through the Faculty of Physics and Engineering Physics and the External Relations Office, focusing on education, human resource development, applied research, and technology transfer.
In education, ALTA Group will coordinate with the University to receive students for study tours, internships, and research projects aligned with the practical needs of the enterprise. The two sides also agreed to joint organisation of seminars, specialised workshops, and career orientation activities, helping students gain early access to the working environment and the demands of the technology job market.
Furthermore, scientific research and technology transfer are identified as a central focus of the collaborative programme. The two organisations will enhance professional exchanges, share expertise, and jointly execute projects related to automation, digital transformation, artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and other applied technology fields. Research findings with potential applications will be considered for implementation within the manufacturing and operational activities of the enterprise.

In addition, ALTA Group intends to support learning and research activities by considering the sponsorship of practical training equipment, student scholarships, and academic programmes for learners.
The Memorandum of Agreement is valid for five years (2026鈥2031). The two parties will continue to formalise specific details of the collaboration through phased programmes and implementation plans, aiming to build a long-term, effective, and sustainable relationship.
The signing with ALTA Group reaffirms the strategic direction of VNUHCM鈥揢niversity of Science towards expanding the network of corporate partners, promoting the integration of education, scientific research, and industrial practice. This approach creates further opportunities for learning, research, and career development for students amidst a period of rapid digital transformation and innovation.
