On 23 July, the Closing Ceremony of the Volleyball Tournament within the framework of the VNUHCM Student Sports Festival 2026 took place at the Gymnasium of VNUHCM鈥揢niversity of Science, bringing four days of spirited competition to a close. At the tournament, the teams representing HCMUS made a distinctive mark by securing the championship title in the women鈥檚 volleyball event and third place in the men鈥檚 volleyball event.
The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Sports Festival Organising Committee, representatives of the Youth Union Executive Board and Student Associations of VNUHCM member universities, alongside numerous athletes and supporting students.
Taking place from 20 to 23 July 2026, this year鈥檚 VNUHCM Student Sports Festival Volleyball Tournament gathered hundreds of student athletes from member universities across the system. Throughout four days of fixtures, the teams delivered numerous compelling matches of high professional quality, demonstrating a spirit of unity, integrity, and fair play.
Beyond serving as an athletic platform, the tournament offered an invaluable opportunity for students from member institutions to connect, learn from one another, strengthen institutional ties, and promote the physical training movement throughout the entire VNUHCM system.
At the closing ceremony, the Organising Committee presented trophies, medals, and certificates of merit to the high-achieving teams across both competition categories.
